Kate Martin


We are delighted to welcome Kate to our team, she brings us a wealth of expertise and is particularly experienced in Pilates, Acupuncture and Sports Massage. Having specialised in the musculoskeletal field for the past 20 years, Kate has a broad spectrum of diagnostic, manipulative and rehabilitation skills enabling a holistic approach to her patients.

Kate qualified from the University of East London in 1999 working in London within the NHS in teaching hospitals and GP practices for 6 years, gaining a breadth of experience in Musculoskeletal injuries. After leaving the NHS, Kate worked within an occupational health setting where her caseload included acute and chronic conditions, various sporting, occupational, posture and work related problems as well as post surgical rehabilitation.

Kate has been a keen member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and practicing Acupuncture since 2001. She is extremely thorough and committed to furthering her knowledge. She has completed many APPI (Pilates) courses and is trained in matwork, small equipment, standing Pilates and remedial Pilates. In addition to this she also qualified as a Sports Massage Physiotherapist, holding a level 3 ITEC diploma in Therapeutic Sports Massage.
