Jo Lothian
Somatic & Nutrigenomics Practitioner specialising in
Brainspotting, TRE & Trauma-Informed Care
Working alongside physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches, Jo supports clients through Brainspotting and nutrigenomics. Brainspotting helps people process unresolved stress and emotional patterns that may affect mood, behaviour, motivation and the way tension is experienced within the body. Nutrigenomics explores how genetics can influence inflammation, stress response, energy, sleep, hormone health and nutritional needs, offering clients a more personalised understanding of their wellbeing.
Her approach is designed to complement physical rehabilitation by bringing in the psychological and biological factors that can impact recovery, resilience and overall health.
Jo is an Internationally Certified Level 4 and Group Brainspotting Practitioner. She is also a certified TRE® Provider and member of TRE International, a member of BAATN and ACCPH, a Nutrigenomics Specialist, Healing Diets Coach, Level 4 Functional Fitness Coach and UK Athletics Coach, with over 20 years’ experience working across community wellbeing and corporate wellness settings. She is also a presenter at World’s largest trauma conference, Transform Trauma at the University of Oxford, where she speaks on stress, nervous system function and intergenerational patterns.
