Jacqui Snell

HCPC, MCSP, AACP

Jacqui graduated from Brighton University in 2004 and initially worked for a large London NHS Teaching hospital where she completed all her junior rotations before specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients, rheumatology and orthopaedics.

Since then she has continued to build on her clinical assessment and treatment skills with over 18 years experience in treating musculoskeletal disorders and sporting injuries both in the NHS and private practice settings.

Jacqui has extensive experience in managing a wide range of complex musculoskeletal conditions, including acute trauma and injury and post-surgical rehab. She enjoys helping women with pregnancy related musculoskeletal problems pre and post-partum and has a special interest in treating persistent pain conditions, including osteoarthritis, back, neck, shoulder and knee pain, and tendon conditions.

In the last few years Jacqui has also been treating patients during and after treatment for cancer, with a specific focus on patients who have had a breast cancer diagnosis. Treatment may include the use of soft tissue techniques to relieve cording, as well as supporting patients with a graded return to exercise, fitness and function in everyday tasks following surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Jacqui has a holistic approach to patient care and is passionate about using her skills to help people get better. Her skill set includes manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, kinesiology taping, hydrotherapy, clinical Pilates, and rehabilitation. Through a personalised and evidence-based approach, she hopes to provide you with the treatment, tools, knowledge and support you need to achieve optimum health.

In her spare time, Jacqui loves spending time with family and friends and dreams of being a yoga guru but instead manages (with variable success!) to fit in some form of regular physical activity with ferrying her daughter to her many (!) after school activities 🙂
